The panel will discuss the advantages and challenges of guiding people to achieve greater success by learning from more experienced team members. You will hear of actual situations and be given the opportunity to pose questions to our panel comprised of mentors and of one who currently participates in a mentoring program. They will cover the benefits, and necessary safeguards, to make the process valuable to the individuals, as well as the organization. This is an opportunity to learn, as well as understand how experience, knowledge, and wisdom can help an organization continuously improve to achieve workplace excellence.

Amanda Booth is a marketing professional with several years of B2B marketing experience. In her current role as Marketing Specialist at ClearVision Optical, Amanda has a variety of responsibilities, including trade show and event planning, copywriting, social media, and email marketing. Previously, Amanda was an intern for multiple semesters at ClearVision Optical. Amanda earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Stony Brook University. She graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelors of Science in marketing/public relations. Amanda serves as a volunteer for the Smithtown Rotary’s annual “Go For The Green” St. Patrick’s Run and is a mentee in the Ms Moxxie group mentoring program.
Andrea Jones, the founder of On Target Marketing, has more than 25 years’ experience in marketing and journalism. Her clients appreciate the strategic thinking and exceeding the expectations in the delivery she provides. She oversaw an award-winning team of journalists for Long Island Business News, and helped reinvent it as a dynamic and relevant go-to news source. She edited copy for the region’s largest tech media company, and managed technology accounts for a notable B2B Manhattan ad agency. Andrea holds an MBA in Marketing from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, and a BA in English, phi beta kappa, magna cum laude, also from UCLA.
Beth Meixner is the Founder & President of Moxxie Network LLC – an innovative women’s business community launched in 2008. It is a unique women’s organization that promotes generations of women in business. In 2012, Beth established Moxxie Mentoring Foundation, Inc – a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation which expanded on the mentoring program. The Foundation’s activities include: fundraising, program development, mentor and mentee recruitment, mentor training, and mentee orientation. Prior to Moxxie Network, Beth was the Director of Sales & Marketing for Target Group Media, one of NY’s most creative multi-media graphic design firms. With a BS from SUNY Oneonta and an MBA from Adelphi University, Beth has been profiled in various publications, been a guest on numerous radio stations and internet TV shows, been a speaker or panelist for numerous events, and received awards for leadership from several organizations. Beth is a Board Member for the Girl Scouts of Nassau County and a member of the Global Advisory Board for the IMPACT Leadership 21 Summit..
